Oh my heart!!

Good Lord, this is the perfect example of a good girl falling for the bad boy. It may be cliche but they're cliches for a reason. They are built in truths. Mia isn't just any good girl, oh no, she's one that's stricken with guilt and overrunning with grief. No bad boy would be complete without his own demons and Derek definitely has those covered. Sometimes all it takes is for another person to see you, to really see you, for the healing and forgiveness to really begin.

I have a serious thing for Ed Sheeran and all the references and quotes just added to my heart palpitations! Derek definitely has some similarities of how my dreams see Mr. Sheeran as a man in love. I really, like really wish we had some of Derek's POV. I think this book would have been perfection with it.

This is definitely an emotional wringer and the narrator, Sarah Puckett, upped the ante on the emotional scale!! Shes able to pull out all the stops portraying the feelings of grief, hope, hurt, and even some humor tossed in. There was so much added with just her tone and inflections that it FEELS so much!!

This book was absolute perfection! I didn't realize it, but I listened to this one before book 1, obviously not paying attention. I caught up pretty quickly, but you definitely want to listen or read book 1 first. This story is an emotional one. Derek and Mia's connection was evident from the first time they met and seeing them discover how deep their connection really went, especially Mia was heartwarming.

LJ Evans did a great job of bring these characters to life for me. I felt like I was there experiencing every emotion with them. Her characters are also very relatable. She did such a great job telling the story that it left me wanting more!

Sarah Puckett did an awesome job narrating. I'm fairly new to audiobooks, but I feel as though she did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life and hit every emotion perfectly.

Great Sequel!

LJ Evans hit this one out of the park! Her use of popular song titles to introduce the chapters is absolutely genius! I fell in love with the characters is My life as a Country Album and even more in this book! Sarah Puckett does an outstanding job narrating this book! She is one of my favorites and doesn’t fail in this one!
