Simple and Sweet
This is a simple and sweet story about friends becoming lovers and I simply adored it. Small town romances are some of my faves because you fall in love with both the leads and the rest of the town - this was exactly that. Recommend for an easy, sweet read. The narrators were fantastic !

Heartwarming and intense all at the same time

Great Childhood Friends to Lovers Story
This was my first Laura Pavlov book and I can easily say, it will no be my last. I think this was a great introduction to this series and these characters and I am eagerly looking forward to seeing what will happen with everyone we were introduced to in this book.
Niko and Vivian have been friends since grade school, they've been with each other through their absolute worst moments and their best, but one night everything changes. Niko is adamant it can't be anything serious, serious relationships aren't his thing and promising someone forever, even his very best friend, isn't something he can do. They can go down this path, as long as their friendship is still intact when it ends. But is there more to this than they both thought?
This book definitely dealt with some pretty heavy subject matter on both sides, but I think it was all handled and explored to incredibly well. The way Vivian and Niko care for each other was so beautiful and the dynamics with Vivian's family were just fantastic, as well as the dynamics with Niko's sister and niece. I loved the side characters and the found family vibes with the guys at the firehouse. It was an all-around really enjoyable introduction to a series I'm quite excited to continue reading.
This is one I would easily recommend to anyone who enjoys the following.

Love! Love! Love!
Always Mine is the first book by Laura Pavlov that I have read and I can say I am now definitely a fan!
If you are a lover of small town romance with a friends to lovers theme then this book is for you. It has characters that you are going to love that will keep you engaged all the way through. This is just the first book in the Honey Mountain series and I am excited to dive into the next story.
Nico and Vivian have been there for each other since they were kids and had a bond that got them through some difficult times. They may have gone their separate ways for a bit but when Vivian comes back to town they find that their bond is stronger than ever and they have a love that was always meant to be.
I also enjoyed the added benefit of listening to the audio version of this book and the narrators did an amazing job.
