Read this book, it was amazing, just wow🥰😊

I was sleeping on the author and narrator but oh boy I am glad I woke up. I had little expectations going into this series but Obi's performance hooked me. I came here after reading The Exit Strategy bundle by Jocelynn Drake🥰

This story was well written, added a mixture of humor, trauma (mentions of civilian & military r@p*, torture, exploitation of child, abandonment, being on the run, domestic abuse and alot of emotional baggage) just heavy sh*t.
But with the love and support their new found family and lovers they are working to overcome their traumatic past.

Even though each character experience harsh life their relationships in my opinion is as healthy as a horse. When you would think one person might feel betrayed or if the other didn't trust him, they'd just say "it's okay baby, I understand and I love you soo much 😘." Maybe I'm toxic but I'm like wow can't they argue a little🤔.

I loved the healthy relationships we should cleanse our minds, body heart and souls of toxic traits and behaviors so we can fully acknowledged accept good things and people.

I am a newbie to bdsm so maybe I'm exaggerating, some of these kinks were not extreme but kinda alot just not my thing. The couples were adorablely cute and the seggs was 🔥🔥🔥. Some of the kinky, nasty but sexy things made me cringe but nevertheless I was steadfast🤣.

I know EVERYTHING was consentual and Brad wanted everything he could get but ,I still feel like he was being used even though that's exactly what he wanted. It's weird how I feel that I know.

My only sad point was the ending of book 5, it was not really a cliffhanger but I wanted to know the flow leading up to the trial etc. I think it might be in No Surrender-No Regrets series.

Also, each book is linked to the previous book more of a continuing crossover.

First series read

I loved the whole series, great twits and turns. The characters were equally matched. for their strengths and weaknesses. I look forward to more

Oh my … I liked it.

The story is pretty good. As a writer myself, I can think of things I would have written differently, but then, that is one writing style vs another and is not comparable. To that end, I REALLY enjoyed the ‘cut’ scenes. It was very interesting to see alternate ideas, and potential plot tangents that didn’t make it into the original book series.

I found that Indy and Connor’s voices were the same. I had difficulty differentiating between the two unless it was obvious who was speaking (as it usually was). Then again, I’m from coastal NC. I have a thick accent as well. So who am I to judge Boston (rhetorical)?

Overall a good read/listen. I am looking for more from this same author and/or narrator.

I definitely suggest reading (or listening to) this series. I enjoyed it a lot.

What a rollercoaster

Alright.... At first I was annoying with all the emotional stuff... But after reading it all, it ALL comes together. And wow... You cringe, cry, laugh, feel the heart fuzzies. It's wild. There were times where I just wanted to roll my eyes and give a bad review, but I kept going. Even though this isn't my type of story per say, I STILL walked away giving this a DERSSVED 5 stars. Worth the listen. And the narrator... Wow, GREAT job!

Indy is AMAZING

Omg! I loved this whole series. I love how these guys created their own family. It was wonderful to see the strong bond these guys have. Indy was amazing and was the glue to keeping everything together. The strength he has is simply amazing. Narrator did an excellent job. I have quickly become a fan of Nora Phoenix.
