Wyvern's Secret (Mage Chronicles, Book 2) begins where book one ended. I was so excited to get my hands on this urban fantasy novel & over the moon that this book is just as devourable as book one. A arresting written & developed novel with a suspensful plot that keeps you on your toes. With compelling characters that exude boldness. This author creates magical fantasy world that revolve's around a mystery. With twists that pull you in & give you jaw dropping moments. As well as detailed world building descriptions and settings. I cannot wait to get to listen to book three when it becomes available.

Narrator Jacq Ainsworth ability to create multiple voices that fit these supernatural characters is fantastic. Her performance was smooth and consistent.

The main Character is in her 20s but extremely Naive and Timid and has trouble believing in herself or her abilities. In book 2 she is addressing this and making strives forward on many but not all accounts. This Story is well Worth the listen/read and I hope book 3 comes out soon on Audible books.
