This book is an absolute must read for anybody trying to get a grasp on the events that took place immediately after the Russian Revolution.

Goldmen does a fantastic job of deconstructing the Bolshevik corruption of the 1917 revolution. It is refreshing to read someone who so artfully exposes the Leninists for what they are, authoritarian and inherently misguided.
