I enjoyed hearing detail after detail regarding all three poodle sizes. I have a silver miniature poodle. She is one year and 10 months old. I learned about tests for certain diseases that miniature poodles are genetically prone to have.

I like the content of the book and I tried really hard to finish it as I try and listen/read what I find on Poodles. I will have to find the book in print as the voice of the narrator was not agreeable to my auditory system. I can’t put my fingers on it but I felt depressed after hearing the voice and this is very unusual for me since I’ve listened to hundreds of books. I had to stop listening at the point where the narrator talks about “disposing your dog’s remains.” That was in the chapter where they talk about saying good-bye. First I thought it may be the topic but then again, nearly all books I’ve listened to has a section like this. The voice sounds very clinical and almost no emotions throughout the book. Maybe I’ll try again but for now, I’ll move on to my next Poodle book.
