Hot and Sexy

This is such a great, fast paced, age gap read! I was glued to the pages from start to finish and can't wait to see what's next in this series.
Venom, VP of the Dixie Reapers MC and Ridley, daughter of Bull, has many years between them but none of that seems to matter to either of them. Ridley was only five years old when her mother remarried and moved to Florida with her. Bull was heartbroken and went to visit Ridley as often as possible. But, the little girl grew up and things went sideways real quick when Ridley turned nineteen and found out what her mother and stepfather had planned for her. Ridley ran like h*ll and headed straight to Alabama to her Daddy and ends up falling right into Venom's arms, the one guy she's always had a crush on. Although now the way she feels about him is anything but a crush. This story is fast, hot and all kinds of sexy.

Venom is the VP.

This is my second book by this author. I loved the first one, Torque. But I was a little disappointed in this one. I didn't really fall for these two characters. Their attraction wasn't steamy for me, just raw and crude. I'm also not crazy for this MC as they run drugs and guns.
I was gifted an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. The narration added alot to my experience. She added alot of expression to the action and steam. Even her male voice was good and convincing.

Venom!

Amazing, Just Amazing! Love love Venom, he's an alpha jerk bad boy to the core but when he met Ridley? all bets are off, it was a done deal. Author Harley Wylde, did an outstanding job writing this book but she also made a great choice on choosing this actor to narrate Venom, this book is ultimate reread and must read, definitely a recommendable book too.

Escape

Oh my! This starts on a sad turned scary note and gets really... upsetting that a parent would participate in the future that was planned for Ridley. Ridley is thrust into an awful situation but finds escape before the evil comes to fruition.

I love how growly Venom is when it comes to her. I'm conflicted about how I feel about Bull's response to their connection when he first becomes aware of it. He was... calmer than expected. Not to say that he was calm.

I listened to an author's copy of this story with Ada Sinclair as the storyteller.
