Get Ready for Fun

Great story about the end of the US and the fight of a military unit frozen and thawed out to remake the US.

it was good and action packed. Got a little busy for a non veteran reader.

What I thought was the final volume, is not. In a glimpse of the future, this volume is referenced as the beginning of the “Showdown Trilogy”. This implies there are two more books to come. While this volume is just as interesting as the prior ones, this story focuses more on the original intentions of the two bases “Operation Overtime” and “Operation Comeback”, it’s visionary General Steeples, and the power struggle between General Steeples and General Angriff. This part of the tale may not be as exciting as the prior battles between The Last Brigade, the Chinese, the GR, and the Islamic cult but it does provide the missing background on General Steeples and what his role in the tale is and/or what it was to be. It also lays the groundwork for the newly introduced Showdown Trilogy. It’s still a great story when taken all together. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This is one of the best this storyline end narration in this type of book jean. I read the books now listening to them. Great overall experience!
