The dice are rolled at midnight.

As the 21-year-old heiress to the Le Spyre fortune, my life should consist of strawberry mojitos and golf carts. Right?

But I’m determined to forge my own path.

Desperate to escape the meaningless games of the rich, I flee my family’s estate.

Secret alias — check.

Place to sleep — uh, kind of?

Job — crap!

I’ve bitten off more than I can chew, but that’s the least of my worries.

My city is a giant board game. The players are supernatural — freakin’ vampires — including an overbearing crown prince whose unwanted attention could spell my demise.

Now, I must play their deadly game, or my grandmother and best friend will pay the ultimate price.

If you can’t get enough of books by K.F. Breene, Annette Marie, Shannon Mayer, CN Crawford, Leia Stone, Jaymin Eve, and Laura Thalassa then lower your fangs and step into Vampire Towers. You’re heading to Level 66!

This book contains sexual scenes, language, and violence.

This was my first time listening to Book 1 of Vampire towers, and I’ve read it once before. . . It was even BETTER with Amandas’s narration and getting it for the second time!
Kelly is consistent in her writing in making me LAUGH!, anxious, heartbroken, and man does she write bad boys so well! She walks the fine line between love and hate which creates explosive passion that you just can’t put down! It doesn’t end on a cliffhanger (THANK THE LORD!) but I wouldn’t call the story resolved either, you won’t be able to forgo the other books! If you love paranormal and fantasy romance, this one is a must read for you!

Even better the second time

The writer is great bringing humor, romance and adventure. I like that the main character stands up for herself even in front of a bunch of deadly vampires. I also enjoyed the narration.

Funny and great narration

This book sizzles in a slow burn of rich decadence.

Normally that's not the kind of book I go for, but I promise this is so much better than I could have anticipated.

14 hours of character development, world building in a pseudo dystopian fashion, and adventure.

When the book starts, I'll admit I nearly asked for a refund. The h is not in any way relatable at the front: a spoilt brat looking to live like the common people do. Riches to rags, and all that jazz, like a dystopian reverse of Cinderella. But the character development was incredible, and despite the fantastical world of vampires and the bloody follow through the discovery - her development is believable.

And the H...well, let's just say there's more to this story than anyone anticipated. Sultry, sexy, and oh so tempting, Kyros is anything but ordinary.

This is a very unique story. It's not the normal vampire blood sucking inferno that you can get almost anywhere - but a truly original story. I can't really go into it because it would ruin some of the more interesting plot developments, but its truly a supernatural battle worth its weight.

Despite the novel length, I felt drawn to each page. When I wasn't able to listen to the audio book, I was absorbing the book, flipping back and forth because I wasn't able to put it down.

And even though the burn is slow, its sizzles oh so bright the entire way through. This isn't some chase romance that you are begging to get going: the h and H are explosive and dynamic - a true enemies to lover type approach. And while the first book doesn't by any means complete the story, it was a satisfying first installment, and I cannot wait to get into more.

This is my first Kelly St. Clare novel, and I cannot wait to dive into more.

Such a great and original series. I loved how well written the characters are! I especially love Ky and Bassil…they were true mates, but one vampire and one human. Even with the pull of true mates, and therefore drawn to each other, I loved how they gradually fell in love.
This was romantic, adventurous, suspenseful and even had some action. But the romance definitely was the main theme. So yummy!
The audio was awesome, Amanda Dolan did all the voices. Usually in romance I’d rather have a guy and a girl, but Amanda made me forget she was one narrator. It was like it was full narrated!! That’s true talent for a narrator! I’d love to listen to more books with her narrating!!

Loved this!
