Wow!

Wow! Great story! This book is a part of a series but can be read and understood as a standalone and you won’t be lost. However, I am a sucker for interconnected series so I love reading them in order!

Minor spoilers: there is consent after the fact; the H used a vibrator on the h and she did not ask him to stop before or during. There is also some light spanking in this book.

HOT shifter story with action!

Another amazing Renee Rose book that will make you want to listen all in one sitting. With a strong female and an even stronger male you won’t be disappointed! The male narrator’s voice was so sexy I’d listen to him read the phone book.

Teenagers with adult problems

"I was given this audiobook for free, at my request, and was asked to voluntarily give a review." So here goes.

The girl hero has to get herself out of the mess her father left her ( police, apparent suicide and the death of her father ). The father made a deal with "the devil in disguise", and now she has to keep herself safe and to protect her extended family.

Even though the boy hero is the young and has the "alpha thing" going on, he has to take care of his family. His older brother, who should help but instead creates problems that the hero has to "clean up his mess".

I didn't think I would like this type of story but was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it.

The reason for someone's action is very important

I really loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even with some criminal and stalker elements. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. The don and his men definitely needed to get some comeuppance as did Winslow and Ben. Many of the supporting characters need to find their "ones" as well such as Wylde, Austin, Slade, and Abe. The guys were all there for Bo and had his back when he would let them. Bo was protective, possessive, and yet also very caring and concerned. He was drawn to Sloane as soon as he saw her and was upset that she wasn't like him. Sloane was sassy, smart, and protective even when she was afraid and trying to take care of those around her. She was drawn to Bo but Winslow had told her that Bo was off-limits. Bo and Sloane ended up spending a bunch of time together after things went sideways for Winslow. The two of them started off as enemies but soon became much more. Their banter had me cracking up on more than one occasion. I loved their happy ever after even though I would have liked an epilogue further out as well. I recommend reading this book. Listening to it is a joy as well. I have listened to it several times. The narrators are talented and really bring the story to life. I would recommend listening to this book as well.

Loved it

The dual narration was great. I love Sloan and Beau's story. I really enjoy the enemies to lovers especially with the wolf side to it. Looking forward to more stories from Wolf Ridge High.
