Once every 10,000 years, the walls between worlds grow thin. The stars align and Hell is close. It is the time of The Sha'Daa.

The mysterious Johnny The Salesman is up to his usual tricks, offering dark magic trades if one is brave enough to barter with him. Johnny's latest ally, the immortal tattoo artist Haumea, just might have the answer to saving the planet from destruction, if she can create enough supernatural tattoos at Mom's Bane tattoo parlor to turn the tide against evil.

This book was so amazing and so much fun. I'm definitely plays into the original belief that tattoos hold both memory and history as well as taking into account that it is a piece that will be with you your entire life. This book became one of my absolute favorites in the series right next to facets. I also loved last call. I would personally definitely read it in publication order because then you know each of the characters as they're introduced. Though honestly, you could probably read it in any order and create your own adventure. I'm about to start the last book in the series and plan on rereading it sometime because I am sad that I'm almost through the end of it.

This series is possibly my new favorite
