    Paul talks pain. And leading the discussion is Dr. Allen Finley, professor of anesthesia, pain management and pre-operative medicine at Dalhousie University. Dr. Finley's work at the Centre for Pediatric Pain Research, a multidisciplinary pain program that is aimed to treat acute pain in adults and children.

    Dr. Finley is a pediatric anesthesiologist who's worked for almost 30 years in pain research and management. He is cross appointed as a professor of psychology and neuroscience and holds the inaugural Dr. Stuart Wenning Chair in Pediatric Pain Management at the IWK Health Center in Halifax. He's also the director for the Center of Pediatric Pain Research. He's published over 130 papers in peer reviewed journals, and has lectured widely with over 300 invited presentations across six continents. And the best part, his events thrive right here in Halifax.
