  • 085 - Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead
    Feb 21 2022

We take a realistic look into the unrealistic world of romantic comedies that we LOVE to hate.

    This Week -

Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead

Starring: Christina Applegate, Joanna Cassidy, John Getz

A wonderful movie that Sarah has never seen; but James has seen 600 times.

We ask the tough questions this week…

Is this the worst mom ever?

Is the Clown Dog Mobile Bryan’s Daily Driver?

Is the Clown Dog Mobile a transformer?

Listen to the podcast - then watch the movie or vice versa!

But stay home, please. What do you need to go out for? Maybe groceries?

Then go back home. Stay home. No need to go out. Pretend you're in an underground fallout shelter. It's therapeutic (and just safe, right now).

    HEIGL Meter!!

A scale for movies. 5 Heigls = worst movie you've ever seen in your life, most painful. 1 Heigl = not bad.

    Sarah: 1 Heigls

    James: -1991 Heigls

  • 084 - Made Of Honor
    Jan 24 2022

We take a realistic look into the unrealistic world of romantic comedies that we LOVE to hate.

    This Week -

    Made Of Honor (2008)

Starring: Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan

A wonderful movie where we don’t know who we are supposed to root for… and there’s no bad guys. Just chill vibes.

We ask the tough questions this week…

Should Patrick Stewart have been the leading man, in this movie?

Was there only one draft of the script written?

How much does the inventor of the coffee collar make per coffee collar?

Listen to the podcast - then watch the movie or vice versa!

But stay home, please. What do you need to go out for? Maybe groceries?

Awesome

James, Jimmie, and Sarah are the best. I absolutely love all of their podcasts. A co worker of mine a couple of years ago was listening to a crime in sports episode, my husband and I have been hooked ever since. I love the dynamic between James and Sarah, they are so cute. I love talking to my tv while watching movies or television shows, so this podcast is right up my alley. We look forward to every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (thanks for the additional short episodes!), and ever other Saturday that a new podcast is released!

Does not disappoint

Hilarious, interesting, thank you for watching these movies so we don't have to! p.S. I love that Sarah has a nice voice and does not speak with vocal fry.

They should have named the movie, "He's All That"

Cause she ain't sh*t till her metaphorically dead character goes through the comedic regeneration through chaos or whatever they call it that happens in 99% of all Comedies

Hilarious!

This has to be the funniest podcast I've ever listened to. I love it and look forward to each new episode. P.S I Hate This Movie is the only podcast that I actually go back and relisten to because the episodes are so funny. It cheers me up when I'm feeling down and always makes me laugh!

Entertaining!

Very funny! Entertaining! I like their comments and banter! Even when it's a movie I love, I still like listening to their funny take on it!

Nope

Don't waste your time with this one. I can't stand when people think they're comedians, but are really just toxic people.
