Another excellent listen

I am hooked on this series. This story had the right balance of characters and mystery. I did not figure it out, I am excited to read the next one.

the story and voices

the players in this story are expressed well and easily distinguished, the story kept my interest and had many twist. an enjoyable audio book

Ah, the "big man"

DCI Logan returns from his island sojourn, and must adapt to a new DSup, and to rebuilding some singed bridges with his team. Terrible murders (and they are) are to be solved, Ben needs to be helped with the loss of his Alice, and how will Tyler and Sinead ever get over seeing a bad case of arrested development (a suspect) in a BDSM situation. Not to mention Logan has to pass the "bleep test" to cement his return to duty. A gripping and fun outing, and the narration by Angus King is just a delight throughout. He is superb, and makes these characters come alive.

Fast moving story, it's over before I realize it!

Another excellent crime thriller by JD Kirk. I have fallen in love with all the main characters. Although there's always a murder, there is great humor, too! I am going through all these Logan books in order. what a treat!

every book becomes my new favorite

i luv this series! each new book in the series becomes my new favorite. the narrator does such a wonderful job telling these stories and it keeps me interested to hear the same voice in each book. on to the next book in the series.
