Publisher's summary

I’ve been waiting for the right moment to claim my fated mate....

Hogan went through hell in the military, but now that he’s in Timberwood Cove for good, it’s time to see if something could grow between us. My wolf knows he’s my fated mate, and I’m ready to make my move. But when I suddenly end up with custody of my brother’s baby, I worry that I’ve missed my chance again. Can I claim my mate while caring for a kid?

Caring for Baek alone is a hefty task, and when Hogan offers his help I’m quick to accept. I thought I wasn’t ready for kids, but with the help of my mate I can do anything.

While our family grows, trouble lurks. My brother isn’t a good man, and when he finds out I have his kid it will put us all at risk. I’ll do anything to keep my new family together. My brother defeated me once before. Am I strong enough to defeat him now?

A military man is claimed by his alpha in Kihyun’s Vow, a full-length shifter mpreg romance. It is book 13 in the Timberwood Cove series. Each audiobook stands alone, as these shifters find true love and claim their mates.

The best of the series

I don't typically like books set in the Omegaverse, for a lot of various reasons. For one, I don't like relationships in romance novels where there is an inherent imbalance, and alpha/omega relationships tend to have that simply by their nature. I make an exception for Liam Kingsley, though, who writes mostly likable, thoughtful characters who are more often than not portrayed as being in relationships with people who are different from them, but equal. It's a breath of fresh air. His writing also tends to be altogether free of politics which is also refreshing.

Kihyun's Vow is the best book of the Timberwood Cove series, which is Kingsley's best series. I don't like every book in it--a couple suffer from bad narrators and some suffer from insufferable characters (almost always the omega, incidentally), but by and large they're my favorite Omegaverse books out there. The world building is good, though there are definitely some points that are glossed over. Each book focuses on the relationship between an alpha shifter and an omega human, in a world where humans are largely unaware shifters exist.

Kihyun is my favorite kind of alpha--strong but gentle--and Hogan is my favorite kind of omega--kind and nurturing but also strong and not particularly submissive. So it's no surprise I like the book so much. I also like that Hogan is already aware of shifters, to avoid the done-to-death "reveal," and has no problem with it. The main conflict is exciting and the relationship conflict is understandable. It's an excellent book.

A nice addition

This series is all about wolves meeting their fated mates and the events that unfold around them. Hogan has come to Timberwood Cove for a fresh start and to be near his friend. He is already aware of the presence of shifters. He just never expected to be the fated mate of one! Kihyun is the Alpha of one of the local packs. He is already aware that Hogan is his mate but the arrival of a baby on his doorstep changes the course of everything. I do enjoy these stories and they always have a HEA. The narrator also has a pleasant voice and was nice to listen to.

Mpreg Wolf Shifter Fated Mates

Well this was a pleasant surprise. A new to me author and narrator and I really enjoyed it. The story flowed perfectly, I thought the relationship was wonderful and Terry added the something extra that made it really wonderful. So, you have Hogan, a human who is in town to help his best friend out and what he gets is much much more. He meet Kihyun who turns out to be his fated mate. Kihyun is the head alpha of the pack and he cannot wait to make Hogan his, but he is reluctant at first due to Hogan being a human and then his brother-in-law dropping a hug bomb on him. The storylines in this book were great, and I loved Jayden and Cody and looks like their book is next. Was missing the epilogue...but saw there were bonus chapters, so hopefully those will satisfy me:)

A sweet fated mates opposites attract!

This was a sweet fated mates opposites attract, shifter romance!
I absolutely adore this series and have been waiting for Kihyun's story and was so ecstatic when this was out.

Kihyun and Hogan were perfect for eachother and the chemistry between them was intense and sizzling.

Austin Jay did a phenomenal job on the audio delivery.
Although this is book 13 in the Timberwood Cover series, it can be listened to as a standalone, but is best enjoyed in the series order .

Kihyun and Hogan

Kihyun's Vow is book 13 in the Timberwood Cove series. This beautifully written story is about Kihyun, the lead alpha for the Southlake pack, and Hogan, Shayne's friend, Kihyun's fated mate and human. I loved this story as Kihyun stayed back and didn't really pursue Hogan and fate had to step in several times by putting them in the same area. Kihyun couldn't deny fate or his mate any longer. Kihyun had left his former pack lead by his brother Kai. Now with Kai possibly bringing trouble to Timberwood Cove the three pack leaders band together to save themselves and protect Kai's son, now being rasied by Kihyun. I'm glad Kihyun and Hogan got their happy ending. I love this series and definitely recommend it.
Narrator Austin Jay does an amazing job.

Nice Addition

Probably the saddest book of the series, but still great. The narrator did a good job with this one.

Great Series

I was looking forward to listening to this after listening to Shayne's Hope. I enjoyed Kihyun and Hogan's story. Their story had some difficult times, but of course, everything works out in the end. The narrator did a good job. I hope there's another story soon.

Wolves and mpreg!

I was a little worried I would be lost since I hadn’t read or listened to the other books in this series but I wasn’t! I really enjoyed this audiobook. Kihyun knows who his fated mate is, Hogan ex military and a human. But Hogan knows about shifters since his best friend is a wolf. Kihyun life takes a major turn when his brothers mate shows up with his nephew and then disappears leaving the baby behind. His brother is bad news. He’s the reason Kihyun had to leave his pack. Hogan offers to help with the baby. Sparks fly, and Hogan ends up going into heat. And he ends up pregnant. Danger is coming for Kihyun... Hogan is fiercely independent and doesn’t like being told what to do. And this leads to him being put in a dangerous situation. The story has some drama but nothing too crazy. Austin Jay did a good job narrating. I definitely want to listen to the next book!
