Publisher's summary

Just call me fate's fool.

I've given advice to half the town through my weekly advice column, but I can't seem to take any of those great gems and apply them to my own life. Namely: Just get over him, already!

I've spent two years pining after an arrogant playboy of an alpha, watching him flirt with every unattached omega in town. All the while, my wolf has been howling at me to do something, to make this right.

Because, that playboy is my fated mate.

And at long last, he's turned his attention back to me, chatting me up, acting like we never shared the most magical night of my life. I never thought he could be so cruel.

But now, I realize the truth - he's not trying to be an asshole.

He just doesn't remember me.

And I don’t know what to do about that.

Should I guard my heart...or give him a second chance?

Welcome to Blackwater, Montana - a small town with a big personality, where shifters and humans coexist. Claiming My Enemy is a dual point of view, shifter mpreg audiobook with a guaranteed happy ending. The fourth in this series, this audiobook can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

In love with the playboy

I really liked this book. The characters well very well portrayed. The story is a mix between enemies to lovers and a second chance romance.
Some of the situations deal with real life problems like alcohol and rejection, but overall it is a lighthearted story with a happy ending, cute babies and a happy couple... So... If you like stories where all is well that ends well this one is for you.
The narrator did an amazing job and I didn't get lost in the audio!

Not a bad narration

I definitely enjoyed the story the second time around. The narrator did a decent job at making the characters more realistic for me. And as always Liam Kingsley did a great job at writing.

Not My Favorite

Listening to this is only slightly better, then reading the book. The narrator helped bring out the characters, but the storyline is what I can't enjoy.

Holden and Nash

Claiming My Enemy is book 4 in the Blackwater Pack series. This is an enjoyable enemies to lovers, second chance story. Holden and Nash are fated mates, too bad Nash doesn't remember their night together. Nash is a bit of a playboy and drinker, and doesn't always remember who he spends his nights with. This is an emotional rollercoaster as Holden gives Nash a second chance and they find their happy ending together.
Narrator Austin Jay does a fabulous job. I really enjoy his narrations.

Enemies to Fated Mates

*Includes spoilers*

This is the 4th book in the series, but can completely be listened to as a standalone. Nash is a partying playboy, and in my opinion, an alcoholic even though shifters can’t suffer from those types of illnesses and addictions. He oftentimes drinks until he blacks out and doesn’t remember his actions during those times, and one of those times was his first sexual experience with Holden where they become fated mates. Nash has a long journey to get Holden to even talk to him or l
even like him, and it all comes to a head when they run into each other in a restaurant and their relationship changes. Liam Kingsley is a new-to-me author and I think the writing is good and the premise of the book was good, but some parts of the book felt rushed and made it a little confusing to understand timelines. A good example was the time from when Holden conceives and then has the babies. Toward the end of the book, the story seemed rushed. I wish they spent more time on Nash getting over his alcoholism, the relationship building between him and Holden, and i wish Nash’s reunion with his father wasn’t just in the epilogue. That felt like a huge component of what made Nash act the way he did that was overlooked. All in all, it was a good story and I’d recommend it for those who like mpreg/shifters.

Great book, narration did not disappoint

I had read this book before I listened so I was really nervous that the narration wasn’t going to bring out the intensity of the emotions that reading the book did but I was not disappointed. The story is great and the Narration was very good at letting the emotions of the main characters come through, which was vitally important with this story line.

Incredible storyline!

What an amazing listen!! The flawed characters fit perfectly together after much adversity! The storyline took a twist but I quickly saw the need for the twist. Incredible listen.

Holden & Nash

Holden and Nash may be fated mates but they definitely don’t have an easy time of it! Holden has known for 2 years that Nash is his fated mate but even though Nash feels a pull towards Holden, he can’t remember their one night together. They don’t have it easy but I really like seeing the changes in Nash as Holden gives him a chance to redeem himself and prove that he can be a good mate. I want thrilled with the twist in this story even though I understand it, but I’m glad how everything worked out. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

good story

Holden thought he had found his fated mate, but Nash didn't remember their one night together. Nash goes on to flirt and sleep with any Omega who bats their eyes at him. Nash has a problem, he doesn't remember half of what he does and he doesn't know why Holden hates him so much. This was a good story. I liked the way it ended. Austin Jay as usual did a good job with the narration.

Stands Alone

I have literally read/listened to this series completely out of order and they can stand alone though they do mention other characters they're not wrapped up in an overall story. This one is not a favorite, it's a fairly quick listen I just personally didn't care to much about the storyline or the characters. I actually liked the glimpses of them better in other books. Austin Jay I have found is a bit all over the place with his narration in this one I think they did a pretty good job of it.
