Perfect for RH fans!

The storyline is completely unique and effortlessly creates the magical world of Kimmery! It’s almost an omegaverse, but make it less biological and more magical. If you like magic, fighting, romance, and a fair amount of 🤌spice🤌 this book is for you. The only thing I was put off by was the actors didn’t switch off for lines, so if the chapter is being narrated by the woman, she’s going to be voicing all the lines, even the men. It’s something that I can look past, and they do a great job, but it kinda kills the sexy vibe, when the actors are trying to voice different genders. At one point, the woman narrator was voicing the lines of Cresswell and she had to use a very deep, raspy voice, I honestly couldn’t help but laugh. Not a dealbreaker, and played well, but I wish they would actually switch for lines. Maybe it’s a technology thing and they can’t, oh well.

Super spicy!

Y'all this is not your typical RH. The Princess's Chosen is book 2 in the Inheritance of Hunger series and is just EVERYTHING. I adore how Kathryn Moon evolves her characters - seeing them grow in such huge and subtle ways (especially Bryony) is an absolute gift. And y'all! WHEW! This story is filled with some very spicy scenes that even had me blushing! The narrators do a fantastic job picking up the little nuances of each character and I just love this series so much! I can't wait for the next book to come out in audio!

A must listen

Kathryn has a way of making so many individual unique characters and making us her readers fall in love with the story. I absolutely enjoyed this story in the audiobook edition!

outstanding series

I love this series! Hell, I can't get enough of Bryony and her Chosen and how their relationships develop. I chose to go for the audio version despite owning the ebooks, because I really like how the narrators bring these characters to life.

I've read the author before and the more I read her books, the higher she ranks on my favourite author list. She has exceptional skills when it comes to world building and character development and does it in a way that draws you in from start to finish. That in itself is pretty amazing, because my attention span is very much absent these days...

With The Princess's Chosen, she picks up the story where The Queen's Line left off. Bryony gets a visit from her grandmother and sister and it definitely gives us a better look into the dynamics between her and her family.

Multiple threats to the FMC and Kimmery are showing up and our beloved Princess has to find a way to deal with them as well as navigate her magic and her men.

This is a page turner for sure, highly recommend!

Fantastic

Honestly, Kathryn has now become one of my go-to authors. I will pretty much devour and listen to anything she writes! This is an amazing continuation of an already great story. We get way more world-building and such great character development and relationship building (yay!). The bonds that Bryony and her men start making just has such magic built into it, always makes me love the story. Can't wait for book three. Oh, I should add...the narration is great! Easy to listen to, not jarring, and adds to the story.
