Larry is a 10-year-old boy growing up on his family’s dairy farm in 1970. While he loves cows and horses as much as the next farm boy, his true passion is flying. His dad owns an airplane. Whenever he gets a chance, Larry goes out with his dad for flying lessons.

Larry jumps at the chance to fly with Dad to an old hunting cabin in the Adirondacks. When they get there, though, an accident occurs. They’re miles from civilization and with no neighbors in sight. It will be up to Larry to fly them both home - if he can muster the courage to do it.

I enjoyed the book,,the setting the bush pilot feeling , the problem solving. It was quite an adventure. The author did a nice job painting a picture with his words.
