This was the first book I've read/listened to by Rachel Blake. It was a shorter listen. Those are most often harder to make a reader feel like they read/listened to a complete story. I feel like I did miss some things. We were just dropped in, which worked but didn't. We needed more. As a romance, it was lacking. The real couple in love didn't get together until the very, very end. There was no heart enduring moments as a couple. Now, Alaska, Murphy's best friend, was wonderful. Loved her character. I can't go into details without spoilers so I'll leave it there other than there were twists that were not expected, it's definitely a dark read with spousal abuse disguised as BDSM. I'd love to see more of Murphy and Cross as well as Alaska and Joey.

Craig A Heart, Blair Dade, and Sean Duregger were good narrators. There were times I was unsure who was talking, but quickly caught up. Blair had a few times when her performance reached my heart. Beautiful job there.

A DARK Mafia Romance!

This was my first Rachel Blake's book, and won't be my last. This story is part of the Black Rose Collection. This is a DARK mafia romance, breathtaking, filled with danger, intrigue, and twists and turns. Impossible to put it down. The world building is intricate, and captivating. The supporting characters are great and intriguing. Blair Dade, Sean Duregger, and Craig A Hart did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Dark & utterly gratifying!

When it comes to romance, I like mine dark; the grittier and hotter, the better. I get a rush out of the unpredictability and the suspense; it literally gets my heart pounding, wondering what will be next. To Crave and Covet: Leave Me Breathless definitely delivered; it's was sensual, steamy with strong segments of BDSM and rough play. The storyline is deliciously dark, mysterious, violent, intense, suspenseful, exciting, and wholly riveting. As the story unfolded, I found myself completely enthralled by the highly complex characters and intricate events. As for the ending, it was fantastic; the missing pieces came together with a possibility of more.

Rachel Blake has weaved a captivating tale, taking her readers/listeners on an exceptionally twisted ride. She has broken boundaries with her phenomenal character development and dark imagination. Without a doubt, I will continue to either read or listen to more of her work.

The narration by Blair Dade, Sean Duregger, and Craig A Hart was spot on! They slipped into each character, capturing the intensity of the emotions and chemistry, further engaging the listeners. All in all, To Crave and Covet: Leave Me Breathless was a gratifying listen, one I'll highly recommend.

This story is dark , intense, twisted and full of mystery.
Craig A Hart, Sean Dunegger Blair Dade narration was very goid.

Outstanding

To Crave and Covet was actually my first book I have ever listened to by Rachel Blake. I absolutely loved this audiobook. I most definitely plan on listening to more of her books. She did such an amazing job writing this book. The narrator did an outstanding job bringing the character to life. They kept me interested in the audiobook the only time wanting to know what was gonna happen next. I would highly suggest this audiobook for people to listen to
