I was expecting a suave and intelligent list. Curious, I read on. Reason one - I have white teeth. Reason two - I love my grandma. Reason three - I have a size 13 shoe - you do the math. The man’s a fool, his list was some of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever read. And the funniest. We laughed hard...and loved harder.

You can outrun everything...except your past. And his has caught up. Wild, handsome players don’t fall for innocent girls like me. Or do they?

Mr Spencer by TL Swan. Mr series, book 2. Audiobook review. 3 POV (Spencer's, Charlotte's, and Edward's). Dual style narration. I truly enjoy TL Swan's stories, and this is my second favorite audiobook of all time following 'Mr Masters'. It was originally listed as 15 hours 31 minutes. At some point an author's note and an excerpt from 'Mr Garcia' were added. It's now listed as 15 hours 55 minutes; I listened at speed 2.50 for 6 hours 22 minutes. Narrators Shane East and Sofia Lette both do a phenomenal job, and I know I'll be listening to this story over and over. Guest stars: Julian and Brielle Masters (pregnant for her first baby); Sebastian Garcia; and Joshua and Natasha Stanton. Mentioned: Adrian and Cameron. Content warnings: OW drama; v¡rg¡n heroine; and h's mom d¡ed in a car accident when she was 18.

Spencer Jones (38, later in the book Brielle says he's 37 in chapter 8; Spencer changed his own age from 38 to 37 in chapter 13; Sebastian says he's 37 in chapter 16; Spencer did celebrate a birthday; aka Spence) is a player and Lady Charlotte Prescott (24, 25; aka Lottie Preston/Angel Leroo) is an innocent sheltered heiress. The two together create a steamy storm of emotions that bleed off the page and through the narration straight to my heart, not to mention I laughed so hard my sides hurt. This book has one of the best plot twists I've ever read. I had no idea how TL Swan was going to fix it, but she did, and I loved it. I hope you love it as much as I do, I highly recommend it. JP

Sexy, sure.

When I first started listening I thought it was your run of the mill romantic chase sex chase what is not yours, but it was quite good. I’m a people pleaser and even though I don’t feel I’m sacrificing my happiness for my loved ones, I believe that’s exactly what I do and always done. This story helped manage that desire in me. Well at least help me clarify that I need more management over that. Unexpected for sure.

Spencer is near to the perfect man

I love this book and it’s all due to Spencer. I love that there’s no games and no BS about him. Sure he was a player but when he decided he was in, then he was totally in. He always had her back too. That’s super important. I’m sure this book will be on my repeat listen list!

Solid 4.5 stars!!! The playboy is tamed!!

What a ride! This story was so full and in depth and spanned so much time and space that I can’t catch my breath!
The story started with a bang and only had a minor lull in the middle but quickly picked up again. This author has a way of gripping you and not letting go.
I loved how almost child like Spencer was and how so grown up Lotty was even though their ages were opposite! They had fire and passion unbounded! They were made for each other and we got to see them come together. A great read.
As always, the narrators chosen: Shane East & Sofia Lette made the story that much more REAL and pulled you in to feel what our characters were feeling. I adore how T.L. Swan ALWAYS gets it right with her narrators!

Great book

Spencer is perceived as a Playboy in the tabloids. He has been pictured with different women on his arm nightly sometimes two different women on the same day.
Charlotte is from a wealthy family who is super protective of her. She feels like she is suffocating.
Spencer sees Charlotte at a wedding and was immediately drawn to her. Charlotte was warned that Spencer was a rake and stay away from him.
After Charlotte’s family leaves the country on business she was able to sneak off to the city and pretend she is someone else and got a normal job. When she showed up in a double blind date with her co worker she was shocked to see Spencer was her friends date.
Spencer has not been able to get Charlotte off his mind and with her constant security it is really hard to get her by herself but when he does sparks fly.
I really enjoyed this book and found my self yelling at it while listening to it because I really wanted Spencer and Charlotte to work out. TL Swan is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Shane East is drool worthy to listen too.
