Journey: In my world, the gangstas on the street are feared. I've come to learn that here in DC, the politicians are the real gangstas and that they are far deadlier than anything we common folk could ever imagine. However, I would soon find out just how dangerous the political milieu can be. It is a place of glamour, lies, and power. Trust the wrong person, and you can end up dead. I gave into the Senator's son one night, allowing him to take what I had never gifted to another. It was the single most amazing thing I would ever experience. But that one night of unbridled passion would send my life spiraling into uncharted territory. The fruit of which I carried in my womb while fleeing to protect my unborn child....

Joseph: I knew she was too innocent to be pulled into my world. A world that was more treacherous than a pit of vipers. However, I could no sooner quiet my hunger for her, than I could the roar of an oncoming tornado. She gave me my taste, and I found my new addiction. The reader is horrible she wasn’t hood enough to read the story! Reader was to proper!!

Enjoyed The Story

i reasd the book and really enjoyed reading it. when the audio version came out i had to get it. the story is really good it just is the narrators could have been a little better.

Interesting with lots of action, however....

Interesting with lots of action, however, I was so over the author's abbreviations for the cursing & female genitalia throughout the story. It is an adult read...correct? Also...the female narration was just ok...various mispronunciations throughout. But I did purchase the next book regarding Rome...think I'd just rather read it though than listen to another Audible version.

This is my favorite author. Her books are the best. The romance. The love. The faith. Just beautifully written. Check out her other books on Amazon. You won’t be disappointed

Love the LAW BROTHERS

I Love all of Mrs. Fort's books and videos.

The stories and the plots are AWESOME.
The narrrator wasn't fit for this story (the female narrator), in my opinion.
One of the things that really bother me is that, it takes so longgggg for the stories to come out.
Since I found out about this author, I was ADDICTED, LOL. I have read /listen to allll her stories. Even one that I found, forgot how, the story of Marcus and Gabby called , "Running From Love". I believe Marcus is the warrior called, The Soldier.
It's just the Prologue and the first chapter.
So, to sum it up, I know The LAW BROTHERS, are going to be bad s$$ and I hope that we will get all the stories sooner than later.
I have read and listen to ever story at least, 6 times. Need moreeeee, I'm going to lose it, 😆😆😆😆
