Great Story, niggling details were frustrating

Nailbiting, edge of the seat action. I've been binge listening all week. Next volume already in progress.

That said, some of the minor story details are a bit head scratching. Though the novels are based in Scotland. Most of the characters are native, yet, money transactions happen in dollars, not pounds. Distance, speed are given in miles, yards, not kilometers or meters. And perhaps most puzzling: the various characters (regular folks), are drinking coffee, not tea? Why?

Wow…just Wow.

Great new series. I loved it. It was sad but revenge is good. The narrator was cold but that’s how he needed to be for this read. Can’t wait for the next one!
