Good story
I enjoyed listening to this fast paced Audible. It has a very interesting premise. Its a little slower in the middle but worth the time to hear it all.

First time with this author
The story was good and the narrator was very good and easy to listen to -
However my story stopped half-way through and would not proceed, so I had to finish it by reading. I listen while I walk, so this was not a good thing!

Ending disappointmenting
I didn't like voice for secondary characters. I particularly found Jack's brother voice characterization bothersome. it was an ok thriller until the actions of the main character and his brother and the lack of any guilt for their actions

slow burner which makes this book hard to stop
when I started listening to this book I was in two minutes minds whether to continue listening to or give up. as I got into it there were times when I had to turn it off as the suspense and tension was too much to bare. Also the narrator added to this feeling dread.

Amazing performance
I'm looking forward to upcoming books in this new series. Jonathan Davis' performance was excellent. His amazing character voices made the book more enjoyable.
