Marxists have ruined education

We all know about the disastrous quality of education our children are getting today. This book objectively explains the dangers of allowing the current system to persist, describes what a good education should look like (creating free thinkers, such as our forefathers were), and provides guidance on how to begin the century-long process of fixing education and saving our way of life, the greatest nation that ever existed, and the freedoms that we've inherited.

Unachievable. Ignoring allies

Outstanding presentation of how leftist philosophy has insinuated itself into our educational system and consequently into our society at large. Even though I have been following this problem for decades, the author presented many things of which I was unaware.

However, the solution tendered will never work and is not practical. Asking our society at this point in its evolution to put Jesus Christ in the center of all educational pursuit sounds wonderful if you were a Christian, but it is too much of an outlier to take root in a nation of 350 million souls.

There is a huge population of classical liberals and their children who would welcome the authors approach and reject the progressive philosophy in education if they were welcomed to the table. Insisting that Christ be the center of their child’s education will scare them away, however. A much more practical, and successful approach would be to fully integrate Christ’s message into classical education. — like Catholic schools are supposed to do, but do not.

Amazing! Enlightening! Mind Blowing!

This book was phenomenal. I decided long before I read this book to fight against my child going into the public school system. Now after reading this I have been given a multitude of information that will help me in this battle. I will be listening to this book multiple times as the information in it is very deep and intellectual. I had to slow.it down, rewind it, and pause to look up certain words. It was well worth it as I have learned imperative information that I would have probably never come across otherwise. staring with the word piedeia...mind blowing.

My eyes are open!

I really enjoyed this book. It's so interesting to go back and see how history has been changed over the past century. This is a must read not only for Christians but also Patriots! I am not a "woke" person, but I am definitely awake now!
