The Doctor

A overall great read. I enjoyed from beginning to end. Cassidy and Dr. Low was so hot together.

Spice with a little plot but so good!

I’ve read age gap romance but this is the first one I’ve read with such a big gap of 20 years. I wasn’t sure I’d like it but Nikki Sloane always sucks me into her stories every time and she did it again with this one! It is definitely mostly spice with some plot along the way, but it was written so well! The plot is a taboo romance as she hooks up with the dad after she breaks up with her boyfriend! Also, if you’re ever had a doctor fantasy then this is totally the book for you to read! Kris Janae is a new to me narrator and although her voice isn’t my favorite it was still a good listen for me!

Ah I love a good forbidden romance 😩😏 this was everything! I will say that it is mostly spice so if you’re not into that you will not enjoy this book. I also loved the doctor aspect of the book, hot!

Love, love, love this book! I feel like I tripped into the Nashville Neighborhood late in the game, and it is tragic that I waited so long! This Dating-Your-Dad-Next trope is totally my favorite! That also makes it an age gap, and we all know what a sucker I am for a smexy age gap book ;)

Krys Janae did a fantastic job narrating this book! Her voice was age appropriate for the character, and her acting was superb! Sometimes I hate when there is a female doing a male voice and vice versa, but I didn't hate this one (much). This book was well recorded and well edited, without recording errors.

“Tell me why you don’t want me to do the surgery.” I stared up into his brown eyes, and my voice went shallow. “Because I don’t want it to be the last time you put your hands on my body.” "I don't want your scars on me for the rest of my life"

I loved (almost) everything there is about this book. I love how sweet Greg is with Cassidy, and I love how he shows her what a real relationship is. The one thing I absolutely *detest* is doctor play. Yup, I'm that weirdo. I don't find that sexy at all! But I knew what I was getting into when picking up this book, so that is a "me" issue.

How cruel was the world to us, to give Greg and me this perfect experience, and know we couldn’t have it ever again? I almost wished we hadn’t acted on our desires. Now I’d always know what I was missing.

Good story, easy listen but is it just me or does anyone else hear the random clicking in the background?!? Like a keyboard key. It drove me nuts the entire story!
