What’s it really like to be a Black police officer in today’s America?

“Defund the police!” is shouted in the streets.
A.C.A.B. is spray painted on precinct buildings.
Countless citizens believe all police are racists.

In this era of civil unrest and political divide, how do Black cops - or any cops - maintain the motivation and commitment to do their job? Former police officer, co-founder of BLEXIT, and Founder and CEO of The Officer Tatum - Brandon Tatum shares his story and the stories of other police officers in the pages of his new book, Beaten Black and Blue. Listen to why they joined the force, what it’s really like on the streets, and how they continue to fight the good fight.

5’ white female Atheist can confirm I don’t need to be represented physically when the message is love, logic, and perseverance. Should be required reading material for kids these days.

Love B Tatum Always

I love this book, Brandon. Thank you for your service. Thank all you officers for your service .As a black conservative woman, I feel and say a lot of the same things and way you do, Brandon, and I'm happy you are able to actually reach people.

Amazing

My husband and I are soooo happy that BTatum wrote this book, and that it was put on Audible. The explanation of how he joined and left the force is excellent, especially since we know another officer here in California that has had some of these same types of experiences. Tatum's clear love for Messiah shines through. Write more please! A book of diverse officer experiences would be a benefit to everyone looking to really understand more about what's happening in our world today. Ron Garner did an excellent job narrating this book.

So Glad This Book Is On Audible
