Sanders doesn't believe he'll actually find a Daddy through a dating app. He's not much to look at, and his life is a mess. A Daddy would never be interested in someone like him. But he's lonely.

He hasn't been kissed for three long years.

Briggs moved to the small tourist town of Red Canyon, Utah, to get away from his fast-paced life in Chicago. But he also moved away from most of his dating prospects. Downloading a dating app seems like an obvious choice. The boy he messages is sweet, nervous, and drinks up every word of praise Briggs gives him. But he's too nervous to meet face to face, claiming that Briggs won't like him as much in person.

How can Briggs convince his boy that he's everything a Daddy could ask for?

Loved the story, HATED the narration.

This is an awesome book. I love the story, the dynamics between the characters, and it's a nice change to have a NICE Daddy rather than one who is constantly punishing his boy for minor infractions. (Those can be good too, but it was a lovely change of pace)
The narration, however, was atrocious. I've listened to audiobooks with the virtual voice that were better than this. The inflections were off, the monotone reading made the steamy scenes less impactful (which is a shame because they would have been some of the hottest scenes I've read) and the voices for different characters were either too similar, or changed wildly throughout. (Sanders was fine in the beginning, but his dialogue became almost cartoonish by the halfway point). I have to agree with another reviewer who said it seemed like the narrator was reading the book for the first time and following along with his finger, reading one word at a time. It was annoying and unnatural.
I almost wish I had read this on my own rather than listening to it here. I'll be reading more from these authors, but probably not this narrator.

sweet story, bad narration.

a very sweet story, but the narration killed it. it was very monotone and felt like someone was reading a textbook. glad it was a on the free catalog.

Absolutely one of my favorite books & I was so very excited when I discovered the audio had been released!! Not sure how I missed it … until I started listening 😶 The narrator sounds very like an automaton, completely devoid of emotion throughout a very emotional story!! The inflections were all wrong and it just wasn’t enjoyable at all. The 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 reason I finished and didn’t return 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘋𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘺, 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘔𝘦, is because I adore these two authors and will always support A. Bellows. I have listened to many good books from Tantor; however, I will likely be avoiding Tristan James from this point.

Fabulous

I became a fan of this narrator in previous installments of this author’s books. When you read the story it’s awesome add a voice and it’s a new level of wow.

Sweet and Steamy

If you love a carring daddy, then you'll love this story with an amazing daddy. Narration is great with a distinction between characters. I would highly recommend this one.
