What's worse than Australian wildlife? Mutated Australian wildlife.

Audiobook has been updated with all new male narrator and voices!

The System Apocalypse has come to Australia, altering native organisms and importing even more menacing creatures to the most dangerous continent on Earth. For Kira Kent, plant biologist, the System arrives while she's pulling an all nighter at work with her pair of kids in tow.

Now, instead of mundane parental concerns like childcare and paying the bills, she's got to figure out how to survive a world where already deadly flora and fauna have grown even more perilous - all while dealing with the minutiae of the System’s pesky blue screens and Levels and somehow putting together a community of survivors to forge a safe zone to shelter her son and daughter.

It almost makes her miss the PTA fundraising sales. Almost.

Town Under is the first book in a new series, The System Apocalypse: Australia. It's set in the same universe as Tao Wong's The System Apocalypse and starts in the same time period as Life in the North but focuses on the changes in the deadliest of continents, Australia. Fans of the original series, LitRPG, fantasy, science-fiction and post-apocalyptic novels will want to take a look.

Audio narration adjusted on 2022/01/29.

The whole story was absolutely fantastic. The MC is great and every other character is well developed. Andrea has a strong voice which is great. The male voice was and is very hard to understand he mumbled thru almost every male voice, it sounds like he has marbles in his mouth, Also when I could understand him the accent was not there.

Good Book... But

Truly I loved this book but the male narrator rubbed me the wrong way. Andrea is amazing as always but the male narrator made every male character sound the same. And worse yet they all sounded like they had just come from the dentist and had golf balls in their mouths. Aside from that if you love the System Apocalypse universe you will love this book

Great addition to the universe

If Tao Wongs original brought you to this book, fully change your mindset before purchase. The story perspective is definitely more like Sarah’s from the original series. Having Heath Miller on the narration as well certainly helps to add more character depth for the listen. Andrea Parsneau pairs well with a maternal MC but the MC’s maternal nature ruins a LOT of straight combat situations, especially when the fight is already on and they’re watching it happen and just inner monologuing instead of contributing. Hard story to finish if you come in just for more system adventure

Not for the action seeking

I loved the book. The narration for the guys were horrible. They all sounded just like gorillas.
