I adore Twilight Imperium! So when I found out there was books I was thrilled! I enjoyed it very much!

Fun Story

Nothing special, but a fun story. I think chapter 7 was the gem in this story many great chuckles.

Slow to start

At first I didn't think much of the writing, yet it grew on me and I ended up enjoying it nonetheless.

A review from a huge TI fan

I play the game and LOVE TI. (If you don’t know, the world this book is based off of is Fantasy Flights IP “Twilight Imperium” which is a 4X board game) and I’m a huge lore junkie too so this book really scratched an itch for me. I loved the characters, especially Duval’s devils, and was pleasantly surprised by the romantic tension between certain characters. All in all it’s a great read with interesting twists. I would definitely recommend trying it out! I’ll be continuing the series for sure.

From the table to my ears....

I set very low expectations for this, and was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. The start was a bit hard, without much history or character knowledge to set the scene, but it passes soon enough. The characters absolutely grow on you, and their accurate representation of the game factions was a bit surprising. I was excited to see the factions start to build little nests in my memory, giving me context about why the decisions i make in the game can matter, and giving justifications for getting a little mean if i have to.
