Forbidden to Love (Mazzone Mafia, Book 2) brings a unforgettable story fruitful with angst, darkness and a world of mafia. The writing style is captivating and compelling. Characters are entertaining. Heartbreak that is hard to forget. I loved this story so much and hated the heartwretching times as tear's drop like raindrops fall. This author wrote a addictive story drenched with words that flow to the very end. I absolutely loved the ending.

Michael Gallagher, Sarah Puckett duet narration is utterly profound. Sarah Puckett is a favorite narrator of mine and this performance exceeded my expectations. Her unmarred performance brought this heartbreaking story to reality. Her portrayal of Natalia was a high caliber performance, her inflection is smooth and her tone adjusts with Natalia's emotions. Michael Gallagher was the perfect choice to portray the Leo and the male characters. His inflection gives off an aura of mafia.

Nat and Leo

Nat and Leo always had feelings for each other but she being his best friend's sister but she was promised to marry someone else before she was even born. I hated that she would not tell someone what her fiancé was doing. Hated that Leo and Matteo messed around with Nat's arch nemesis. Anyway there was alot of heartbreak, double crossing, revenge, decent, action, denial, anger, archaic behavior, but there was some good planning and well deserved happiness. Then leadi up to the next story. Narrators always do well together.

Hot ,intense, Mafia story

She captured all the raw emotions between Natalia and Leo and their forbidden love. Natalia has always loved Leo, her brother's best friend, but it is forbidden. Their torment, their love for each other, is forever.
Natalia is an innocent 17 year old girl, is resigned to her fate, to marry her father's choice. As the story develops, Natalia transforms into the strong, independent woman, who makes her own choices

OH THE FEELS!!!!!

✨A TOP LISTEN OF 2022✨

There is so much I could say about this story! I took 2 FULL PAGES of notes! Basically Natalia is in love with Leo, who is best friends with her brother, and very low on the mafia scale. She is basically a mafia princess so she has been promised to another man that is an heir to a territory. And Leo is in love with her too..... but they can not be together. There are so many things that happen over a span of 13 or 14 years that keeps them apart before they both finally give in and go after what they want. But it is not without risk, and they both know this!

There is so much that happens, that my heart was breaking over and over again. And there was a time when I felt sorry for Leo... and another where I was like "he made his bed" ..... but then he turned all super swoony!!! And I couldn't help but love him for her! The man that she ends up marrying had lost his wife in a car crash and needed a wife to take care of his twin boys. The bond that they had was so fantastic! It was really heart warming to read about! I just loved everything about this book! I don't think that I have one bad thing to say about it! And the narration really brought the characters to life! Sarah and Michael nailed it with these characters!
