So slow

It was a very slow read. And I was expecting more. Every other book I have read from Kathryn Croft are amazing!

The twist!

Great story just me a bit to get into but the twist is worth it

Took awhile to get there…

Like many similar books, the main character hinted at something dark or mysterious from the past plaguing her current life. At first it played out well, but eventually this hinting became frustrating and wasn’t revealed until the end…an end that in my opinion, took a long time to get to and while an interesting twist, it was far less exciting than what I’d hoped from this book.

Was a good listen

By no means a thriller but was still a good listen. I really disliked the main protagonist because I couldn’t comprehend what she had done but the final chapters wrapped all that up and I was able to then have empathy for her. Good character development, good pacing and it kept me guessing until the end. Will definitely read another from this author. Great narration too!

powerful work

this piece touched me so deeply and I had so much compassion for the main character from the start. I feel that this story is easily one that so many women can relate to and my heart goes out to them all.
