The world teeters on the brink of destruction.

The people who should be saving the Earth ignore Jason Asano's warnings and choose to loot the house as it burns down around them. He lacks the strength to save the world himself, but resolves to do it anyway, impossible be damned.

The impossible, in this case, means seizing a power that no mortal should touch. It's a choice from which there is no turning back, and marks Jason's first step into a wider cosmos that he is not yet ready to face.

Holding the fate of two worlds in his hands, Jason must decide for himself what home truly means.

LitRPG means Literary Role Playing Game. Simply put, it’s the book version of watching someone play a video game, usually one that’s set up like an MMO (massively multiplayer online) RPG. It’s a blend of sci-fi and fantasy, depending on how it comes to be that our main character ends up living inside a virtual reality. the point of LitRPG is not how we get there, but that we get to be in this virtual reality period, living life as a badass video-game character. Beat the grind and submerse yourself in these addictive LitRPGs.

Emotional Epilogue • Satisfying Conclusion • Exceptional Voice Acting • Memorable Characters • Powerful Cliffhanger

This is another great book from Shirtaloon, and an amazing telling from Heath Miller. my one and only complaint is the way the book ended. Well both endings. Why oh why must the book end the way way it did. Now I have to wait another 3 months to start the next one.

A great book to Hate

This was a great story but it felt a bit rushed. I like the epilog but I feel like the side characters deserve a bit more fleshing out.

great but short

After seeing how it had two reviews before even releasing I was a bit skeptical as to how good it would actually be if the ratings were being increased beforehand (whether through faking or other means) but the ending leaves me wanting more immediately. I found out there was an actual books for this series and started looking for book 7 and had seen that it'll be out in September, it's not a super long wait but I'd personally prefer it tomorrow if it was finished :)

NEED PART 7 NOW

I love this series so much, and though seeing what Jason has to go through is rough, I can't wait to see what happens next... and I'm really buggard about having to wait for the next book AGAIN!!! LOL

Fantastic Continuation

So let me start by saying that the book was enjoyable and I will read book 7 if/when it comes out.

However it only really went about tying up loose ends and setting the stage for the 3rd arc of this story. So I feel cheated as this very easily, in my uneducated opinion, could have been added on to book 5 and the combined lengths still wouldn't have been as long as the longest in series. I guess it really feels like shirtaloon was trying to make each arc three books and kinda ran out oomph/ideas/muse or just cut this off the end of book 5. Granted I am not the author and don't know their motivations but that is how it feels to me.

I am still probably going to continue this series unless the storytelling takes a nosedive. But I feel as if this more a money grab or attempt to keep each arc a trilogy than what it could have been.

Feels Capitalist/Trilogyist
