Cute Romantic Prequel

This was my first experience with Julia Kent's work, and it was entertaining. This was a prequel and so the content was limited, which might be why I didn't think that the story was as complete as it could have been. I'm interested enough in the characters that I'm looking forward to the first book in the series. Erin Mallon's and Teddy Hamilton's dual narrations were fun. They were easy to listen to and I enjoyed their performances. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Not enough...

Story just appears to develp meat and just stops. It does provide preview of next book (which doesnt appear for months!) Grrrr....

Friends to enemies

What a way to start a new series. Julia Kent has given us a wonderful insight into her new world in this fun read. Can't wait to see how these once friends now enemies turn into more.

All the right reasons to love this prequel!

Really enjoyed this introduction into a new series… from friends-to-enemies… to hopefully lovers? This author never disappoints with her laugh-out-loud, crazy situations that pull you in right from the start. I loved the characters, the office setting and rivalry, and the play on Kell’s last name--what a fun concept for a town! This is just the tip of the iceberg and I can’t wait to see what happens between Rachel and Kellan, if their friendship survives and turns into something more, and what the loving town of Luview has in store for us! The narration was top-notch, as Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are the perfect duo… bringing the funny and seriousness as they elevated these characters and story with a performance that brought this entertaining tale to another level. Can’t wait for the next book!

Great Beginning

I love reading books by Ms. Kent. Her books are hysterical. She comes up with the most crazy and zany circumstances for her characters. Teddy and Erin as Kel and Rachel were fabulously performed. They were able to convey what the town of Luview is all about.
