Great story great narration. Love the series tremendously! Can’t wait for the next book! Simon Scarrow had single Handedly filled my passion for Rome and Roman history!

I can’t wait for Cato’s search and fight to come! I was wondering how the Boudica story would unfold. Not disappointed at all!

what an epic tale I've been waiting for this part in the story to see where Simon takes us and Keeble really puts the emotions in the words

Enjoyable, but a little inconsequential

Another well narrated novel by Simon Scarrow. It did feel a bit inconsequential in comparison to some of the others in the series, but I think it’s fair to conclude that it’s largely setting up the next book that will cover the famous victory of the Romans against Boudica. I guess that may be the last in the series!
