It’s been over a year since The Day.

Morgan and his companions have fought to stay alive and he finally managed to get to his parents and bring them back. Their situation is getting better every day, but there are still challenges ahead of them.

With a desire to return to a normal life on everyone’s mind, the group starts taking steps to do just that. Thinking bigger they tackle some major projects that will provide valuable resources. However, there are others out there making plans for them as well.

While these new plans will provide them with a lot of supplies and the ability to be resupplied on a regular schedule, it also comes with oversight; something Sarge and Morgan are not going to like. But the benefits far outweigh the problems...or do they?

They still face many challenges—like Fred’s pregnancy—that are still potential disasters. There is little room for error in their world. But hard work, determination, and the bond that holds the group together have enabled them to make it this far. But will it be enough?

One hell of a ride

The latest installment of this. I have no words. Cliffhanger at the end absolutely and rages me because I’m going to have to wait until the next installed it comes out. But so far every single in Sauget that I have waited for her husband well worth the wait. People don’t look at this very raw and real picture of what could be if we allow our country to continue into a tailspin that it is currently at. Sometimes I look at this fictional book as of eight story, other times I look at it as a manual for how things could, and sometimes should go. The narrator is great, the character development and appearances of new characters keep constantly wanting to know more, and guessing sometimes the motivations of people going through a very real possible existence. A good instruction: start the series from the beginning, and while waiting for the next installment get into the Charlie’s requiem series as well. You won’t be sorry….

KILLIN' me with the cliffhanger!

Like everyone else, I've been eagerly awaiting this one. Chris just doesn't write these fast enough!

The whole series is fantastic. If you like a good story read by a great narrator this is for you. The characters are fantastic.

Amazing continuation to the saga!!!

I have been waiting for this book and so relieved when A.American finally released it. As the tale continues it leaves me waiting on the edge for the next on. Keep em coming American....well done!!!

Great book, as always

Loved the new characters; hard to keep up with who is who but I will listen many more times and I will grasp it. Cliffhanger!!! I hope the next book comes out very soon!!! ❤️
