Lex and Jude were great!

I liked that this was loosely connected to the rossi crime family series, Roman, Luke, and, Damon appeared and he worked at the gym. story also had a similar vibe with the crazy and abusive parents on her side.. however it stands out on it's own. with him being a former Marine you get the badass duty and protect but with his family he was everything Jude needed. he was a steady reliable presence for her the entire time while she leaned trust. the pets were a great addition. I loved their little family and it was a great listen!! the narrators were good also!

Over all a fantastic book and story line! A couple twist and turns that come out of no where, lots of spice, and a HEA. SOLD

Where are the contractions?!

Another great addition to the series, but good lord why don’t Jude or Lex contract their words? It drove me crazy. I get why Jude may not use contractions as she’s been sheltered, but why the hell is Lex using them too? Is he just starting to talk like her? It’s strange that the authors used contractions in the previous books, but suddenly aren’t in this one. It was awkward to listen to their dialogue because of it. But she narrators did their best, so there’s that. I enjoyed this story. I do wish there were more details into her life and more interactions with her and Blair, and now I’m curious what Lex will have to owe the mafia family. All the books so far have left me with some questions, nothing major just small details overlooked, but I am curious. The only thing I don’t love about the series so far is the whole get married and have babies thing, these books started morally grey and they end up being happy little nuclear families in the end. Kind of disappointing. But overall I’ve enjoyed the series and would recommend it.

I really have enjoyed this series. I have enjoyed the narration a ton. The book, the storyline everything about it has been wonderful. I'm glad that I took a chance and listened to it.
