With too many missions to complete and not enough information, Sinclair and team discover that the Chinese plan is nearly complete. As one nuclear glide vehicle misses Washington, DC but hits Loudoun County, Virginia, Sinclair’s mission in the Sahara is to stop the Chinese from using its ground based laser targeting system before they can more accurately launch the remaining four. Facing insurmountable odds and without support from his government, Sinclair takes his team into the maw of the Saharan death pit, the Eye of Africa.

The realization of the story and the system

The detail, accuracy and emotions conversations seemed very real like it was truly happening now

Sci far more than fiction

Book had some really solid foundations about hypersonic warfare and how quickly things can go sideways and how greed can overcome people. However the fact of the French assassin only using his sword bordered on ridiculousness

Slow in parts but a worthy read in this series and the narrator was good at at series

More real than what we could guess?

Tata seems to be showing us what is really going on behind the scenes in govt.
