    I’m Trish from Chromatical, I don't run my business in the same way that most business mentors, coaches and consultants teach.

    I’m here to share how I build an Unlimited business that challenges the norm when it comes to running and growing a digital product based business (though my episodes will likely inspire any business owner who listens) so that you too can run a business that is Unlimited.

    I’m here to question the standards, experiment with non-traditional business methods, innovate new alternatives and work arounds to common practices to help you grow your business, that work with me and you, who may not have the same energy, ability, or capacity to run a business in the same ways that others are teaching… And importantly, new ways that don’t impact your revenue.

    It’s time to remove strict business methods that cause you to crash, or fatigue you when they don’t need to. You don’t need to do things that don’t bring you joy, that suck your soul out of doing business or out of your energy bank.

    Here, you’ll hear me share my on-the-fly, unscripted, non-linear voice notes as they come to me, as I too seek and experiment with building an Unlimited business.

    Here is your permission slip to do business in ways that serve you (as well as your clients/customers), and to set your own rules in business.

    In this podcast episode I share my final episode on this free platform, and why I made the call to can the free podcast and move into focusing on sharing more in my paid spaces.

    I hope this episode inspires you to find whatever is blocking you based on how you work best, what aligns with you and what brings you joy, and to build a business that works best with you.

  • Is using automations to sell icky? Or unethical?

    Two-way podcast chats is back for another episode - Listen to the episode before jumping in, and then let’s talk more about it - Links at the bottom of this post.

    I’m beginning to dip my toes in the topics that have been ruffling my feathers for a few years now, as I believe these topics are unnecessarily pushing more people into very manual, and unsustainable business operations that limit profit, limit impact, and are causing so much burnout. Which as you know, is the opposite of what I’m about.

    The growing trend of automations and selling strategies being ‘ick’, or unethical needs to stop, and instead be celebrated. Because it’s creating fear in people that stops them using the tools that allow them to help more people, while looking after themselves.

    I have a lot more to share on ethical marketing subjects, it’s something that’s been boiling within me for years now and I’ve never been in the position to speak up about it.

    Before rebranding Chromatical, my brand was different and I found myself in more of a people pleasing position rather than being able to talk freely about my beliefs. I wanted to keep everyone happy instead of speaking my truth, so I buttoned up on subjects that were important to me.

    But not anymore.

    Because if I don’t voice up and become an advocate for this, more people will go down the path of burning out and losing their businesses, and if you know my story, you’ll know why I’m not cool with that. So I’m here to play a role in changing this fear based narrative being pushed.

    Seeing so many businesses doing everything themselves out of fear of being ‘unethical’, not doing the things they need to in fear of being ‘unethical’, not making enough profit to take time off, because they don’t have the time to do everything they need because they are refusing to use the tools that take the manual tasks off them. It’s awful to watch.

    The belief that selling, automations, marketing, and everything that helps to lead to making a sale in easier ways is ick… is what is icky! And the fact that it’s becoming so believed by so many who then continue to spread the message, makes others feel that way and it needs to stop.

    In this episode I talk about:

    • The trade-offs of using automation vs doing things manually
    • How automations help you build a sustainable & future-proof business
    • How they aren't always perfect but they can have great benefit for you and your customer
    • Automations used in social media
    • Selling on social media in the DMS, after the automations have taken place
    • Objection handling and the importance of it for you and the customer

    I am very passionate about the topic of ethical marketing. I believe we've been influenced heavily by a misguided trend that has placed strategy, marketing & automations in a light that is not true.

    There are invaluable tools designed to help us and help our clients, that should be leant into and promoted more, so that more business owners can help create more impact in the world without breaking themselves in the process.
