All the Emotions

Sofia is no constellation prize, she's a queen in her own right. I often wondered what was going through Sofia's during the Serafina situation and Cora delivered with this book. No longer was Sofia a background character, she took the card she was dealt and thrived. Plus finding out she was crushing on Danilo from the beginning was just the right plot twist. Anna and Leonas had me laughing through out, and I'm looking forward to both of their books. After all the dark themes this family experienced, it was nice to have some good humor and laughs.

Sofia wanted her arranged marriage to work, but still wasn't sure how her relationship with Danilo would play out. He obviously didn't want to marry Sofia. This book surprised me, especially Danilo, he was far from the person I painted him to me in the other books he appeared it. He didn't love Serafina, his anger towards the broken engagement was simply because he wasn't getting his way, his ego and pride was bruised by Remo. His engagement to Fina was a power move for him. But Sofia definitely arose to the challenge. Not allowing Danilo to ignore her. In the beginning she believed she needs to change, to become more like Fina, but eventually she realized she needed to be herself to win over Danilo's heart. Their spicy scenes were something else, I clenched my pearls many times. Mr. Ice man was a undercover freak and I was here for it every step of the way. I found myself rooting for this couple more than I did for the others. My heart ached for Sofia, understanding what it's like to be the bridesmaid but never the bride. Now Sofia is front and center, and not taking no for an answer. And most importantly I'm happy she got to make her peace regarding Fina. Their brief reunion pulled at the heart strings, especially when Danilo showed and brought Sofia back to reality. This book definitely is one of my favorites of Cora's.

Don’t Listen

Do NOT start listening to this book unless you have time to finish! I was completely hooked from the first chapter and listened all the way through. The story, the narration, everything was amazing. This will definitely be a repeat listen.

Slow burn

This was a SLOWWWW BURRN!!!! The book is good, a few times I lost focus cause the same thing kinda kept happening over and over and the main chick needed a spine but then the tide turned.

Loved it

I’ve read this book and enjoyed listening to it. I love this author’s book. If you love dark mafia romance the I would recommend reading:listening to this author’s book

It was worth the time

Thoroughly enjoyed the listen. The characters were dynamic I wish that the description included trigger warnings.
