Another Steamy Story!
This couple meet in the steamy Guatemalan jungle. He's an Operator with HOT and she is a journalist who is held hostage along with ten other people by a drug cartel.
Wolf and Haylee have an instant connection. Their relationship grows as the harrowing rescue trip through the jungle and helicopter ride to a holding base proceeds. They discover they have mutual backgrounds as both their mothers are English Lit Teachers. They also have a mutual hatred for the drug trade. Haylee having lost a close friend to Fentanyl laced Oxycontin and Wolf's sister is an addict to Oxycontin.
They have a loose plan to reconnect when they return to the USA and the DC area. When they do reconnect, several months have passed. They meet and the heat is still steamy and hot.
The story has Haylee digging deep into the drug trade via questionable characters and Wolf trying to protect her from her passion to avenge her friend's death and her seeming disregard for her personal safety.
Things get dicey and they team up on all fronts, but neither is sure about what or how deep their “relationship” is. Neither one wants to label it, but both are not willing to let the other go, completely.
Then explosive action brings everything to the forefront.

Awesome Story From Beginning To End

I am really enjoying visiting these books again and listening to the great narrations

I really enjoyed this latest HOT book featuring Wolf (Dean) and Haylee. They were a fun couple who seem to click from the very beginning. She is passionate about her work and using it to fight the bad guys. Wolf is a complete alpha who makes no excuses about who he is and what he wants. I liked how this story was more close to home for Dean and the members of HOT and how the people they were after were right in their own backyard so to speak. This story was full of action and drama and even a little bit of a surprise involved as to who was behind some of what was happening with Haylee. I always like the appearances of not only the men of HOT but of the women who love them. Dean may have at the beginning felt he would not fall victim to love but it was clear from the beginning he had no chance once he met Haylee. Wonderful HEA!

this book is one of my favorites by Lynn Raye Harris! the Narrators did an awesome job bringing Wolf and Haylee to life!! I loved the dynamics between Wolf and Haylee and the narrators nailed it perfectly!

If you want excitement, danger, mystery, intrigue and steam, this story is for you.
Hayley is determined, sassy, strong-willed, and can play a mean game of pool. her agenda as a reporter is to get a story and expose the cartel.
Wolf is the strong , sexy, commando, that came to her rescue several times.
He wasn't supposed to fall in love, his job is too dangerous .
Lynn Raye Harris story kept me captivated from the beginning to the end.
Gregory Salinas and CJ Bloom narration is very good. They brought the personalities,, emotions, and intensity for this amazing story. I was gifted this audio by the author and offered my honest review.

Justice comes in the H.O.T. form

Wolf & Halee share a similar life. They both have a loved one dealing with deug addiction, though one overdosed from a bad batch. It may not have been what brought them together but helped them understand each other better.
