Epic Love Story

WOW! The HEA Riley Edwards audiobook fans have been waiting for. Dangerous Love is book one in the Takeback series and if there’s one takeaway from the first book, it’s that this series is going to wreck me! What started as a one-night stand became a life-changing love. If you love a gut-wrenching, second-chance, surprise kid romance with twists and turns, grab this amazing series starter now! I cannot wait to hear where this series takes us.

Samantha Brentmoor is marvelous as the bighearted, beguiling, courageous mama bear, Brooklyn. Samantha narrating a character who is a romance audiobook narrator was delightful; the scene where she rehearses the male POV was everything. I loved all of her characterizations in this love story. Joe Arden is in top form as Rhode; his raw emotion will rip your heart out, but don’t worry he’ll piece it back together with all the swoony devotion. If you’re a fan of Joe’s kid voices, get this in your ears now because Remington is one of his very best! Samantha and Joe are two top-tier narrators and they brought their A+ performances to the booth to bring this long-awaited HEA to life. Dangerous Love was a banger audiobook and an aural treat.

Grab your Kleenex, and get ready to laugh - cry - and experience ALL the emotions. I literally couple turn this one off - stayed up all night listening because I just NEEDED to hear the end! And now I'm bummed it's over - but excited it's a series and now I'm in the middle of Book 2. This series is going to give me renewed hope in humanity that fairy tail true love is out there, and depressing realizing these Book Boyfriends are what every woman wants - and only exist in the pages because well, a women wrote the perfect man! lol It's so worth the credit! I'd have paid full price for it!

Those and Brooklyn

This is a story of love that withstands time and circumstances. I truly felt the emotions from the characters as Joe Arden and Samantha Brentmoor narrated. They really brought the characters to life. An awesome read. Definitely 5 stars!

An engaging story that will keep you on you toes as two strangers who fell hard but believed they were destined to live separate lives, find fate intervening in the most dramatic of ways. Brilliant start

A brilliant start to a new series. I liked Brooklyn and Rhode and then add a kid and I’m in love. I also listened to the audiobook narrated by Joe Arden and Samantha Brentmoor. It was the first time I’ve ever heard them narrate a book. They did great and I’m anxious to listen to them again.

A great start to a whole new series!

Rhode and Brooklyn hooked up at a bar one night, no strings, no names, no nothing but one single night. Brooklyn left the next morning with a single kiss and a surprise.
After 6 years neither forgot about the other one and Rhode desperately wanted to look for her but had no way to even begin, little did he know she was so close all this time.
While on a case, he finds her at the crime scene and is just as shocked as she was. Rhode isn’t letting her go this time, not without a fight.
Rhode walked into the bookstore and stopped dead in his tracks. He looked at Remington and saw himself.
Brooklyn didn’t want Rhode to find out this way that they had a child from that night years ago but nothing she can do now but explain it all to him.
I love that Rhode and Brooklyn was able to move forward even with so many years between them gone.

Great book!

I really enjoyed this book. The narration was good. The storyline caught and held my interest. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

One night of bliss leads to a hot reunion

One night of pure bliss left Brooklyn in somewhat of a pickle and Rhode wanting more. Brooklyn wanted a night of unforgettable sex and she got exactly what she was looking for but she also wanted what more just spending hours with Rhode.

Rhode often thought of Brooklyn but he didn't know her name, where she lived or anything to try and find her. He just knew that if he was given another chance, he would take it and happened!

Brooklyn often thought of Rhode and the many things he is and has missed, she wished she would have gotten back to him before he left her. She knew there was something about him that made her complete. Meeting him because of a missing sibling was the oddest way of finally getting him but this is her chance and she is going to take it and break some news to him.

Brooklyn and Rhode had a hard path ahead of them that neither wanted now expected. Can Brooklyn protect those he love? Will the secrets revealed ruin what is meant to be? Can Brooklyn and her family heal from the turmoil of it all?

Love Love this book!

Rhode and Brooklyn have become my favorites hero and heroine in all the Riley books I've listened to. Joe Arden and Samantha Brentmoor were phenomenal narrating this story! They conveyed every emotion that these characters were going through.

This story is filled with many emotional moments, love, pain, fear and tragedy. Rhode and Brooklyn were destined to meet and were true soulmates. They met in a bar and were instantly attracted to one another. Surprisingly they took their encounter to the next level very quickly and spent a hot and passionate night together. Brooklyn thought it would be best to not share names or contact info and just leave it as a memorable night neither would forget.

Jump to several years later they meet again when Rhodes' team is involved in helping Brooklyn's best friends’ family find their missing daughter who is involved with a dangerous group of people. They are both stunned to see each other again and Rhodes immediately knew he could not let her walk out of his life again. Little did he know that he and Brooklyn would be tied together forever when he goes to find her where she works at her best friend’s bookstore. Both their lives would never be the same as they professed their desire to be together, fall in love and become a family.

Brooklyn and Rhode met at a hotel, decided to share one night of passion but neither was prepared for forever. After that one night without exchanging names, years later fate brought them together in the most random situation. Brooklyn shows up at a rescue scene that Rhode is working and even after years have passed neither one forgot each other or the night they spent together. This one was had all the mystery/intrigue mixed with laughs and heartache that leads to a HEA. This audiobook was brought to life by Joe Arden and Samantha Brentmoor who did a fantastic job! Riley’s Takeback series is one I look forward to diving into and the set-up for book 2 has me impatiently waiting!
