Explosive Banter! What A Prequel!

This is a prequel that tells some of the backstory between Catriona and Alex. At first I thought it would be a basic teacher/student storyline. I should have known better! Both of these characters went off the rails and what we got is a steamy, fun and wonderful backstory. By the time I was done I was wanting to listen to their story again. They have explosive banter and I never really knew what either of them would do.

I did listen to this on audio. Marian Hussey and Shane East did an amazing job on the narration. I throughly enjoyed listening to them tell this story.

My favorite couple!

I really loved getting more into Alex and Carriona's backstory of their first meeting and their whirlwind relationship in the beginning. Their first kiss was the hottest thing ever! Of course even though I knew what was coming in the end, with all that happens to Cat, it didn't make it any easier. It did make me wanna listen to their book again though.
Marian Hussey and Shane East always do Anna's characters justice. Always a pleasure to listen to them in an audiobook.

Great prequel!

This is an excellent prequel to Catriona/Cat and Alex's story (from Irresistible in a Kilt). I love the Hot Scots series! This is a great addition to the series. Shane East and Marian Hussey did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward for more in the series.

Love this meet cute!

Did you ever wonder how two of your favorite characters meet? Anna Durand has given us the opportunity to see just how Cat and Alex meet before we get their full story and it's amazing! A sweet and spicy listen, filled with secrets and passion. Alex is a professor and Cat is a graduate student. Incredible chemistry pulls them together, but love is the glue. If the secrets are revealed though, will Cat stay with her true love? A bit of suspense, a lot of passion and it leaves wanting to re-listen to Irresistible in a Kilt!

Narrated by the talents of Shane East and Marian Hussey, the story is beyond perfect. East falls into Alex, a hint of mystery and brokenness, and a lot of sensuality. Cat is energetic, knows her heart and is full of passion, and all of this explodes from Hussey. It's a fun listen, and is the perfect segway to their story.
