Very enjoyable weekend read! After Gia’s father dies she inherits a treasure map with her families ancient gold fortune. Fast forward 2 years and she finds herself being locked into an arranged marriage with the son of the ruling Mafia family in Chicago.

Worried about her impending lack of freedom she heads off for an adventure on her own but fate intervenes as she meets a handsome stranger Danny who helps her on her adventure. Yet Danny is not the man he seems.

This story goes past a simple Mafia retelling and adds in elements of adventure, fate and a hint of magic. Spicy, sweet and fun. Looking forward to the next book.
