Today's guest has sales experience. Actually, I've just learned that he has sales experience and marketing experience, baby, going back 30 years rather than 20 years that I know about. Because before I know about he worked at Marketing Week for ten years. But what I found is sales experience going back to 2000 when he was an area manager selling advertising on a personal finance website. Since then, he has held roles, including senior sales, commercial director, global sales manager, and director of Sales and Marketing.  

He has been involved in industries including advertising, publishing, business, intelligence and innovative display services. He has been running his business. Everyone works in sales for almost five years. He is a LinkedIn top voice for sales, a sales force influencer and the author of two books, Everybody Works in Sales and the Easy Guide to Sales for Business Owners. In fact, that needs to be revised as well. We will hear about that. What you may not know about him is that he married a woman he had known for 20 minutes and one game show for years to provide for his family, including dirty money and the biggest game show in town.

Today's guest has almost 20 years of sales experience, including customer service roles, sales rep roles, technical sales, sales management, and national product management roles in industries including personal hygiene, household and industrial cleaning and steel. She is now the co-host of the LinkedIn Branding Show. The LinkedIn pages team advisor for the Small Business Council, the Good for Business Show podcast host and has been running her business, the Good Trading Company, for almost three years. She is also the co-author of Business Gold Building Awareness, Authority and Advantage with LinkedIn Company Pages. What you might not know about her is that she once got a $2 million sale from a single LinkedIn post. She was introduced to us by the delightful Gillian Whitney.

She has achieved a BA in theatrics, theatrical dramatics and theatrical arts and a master's in creative writing. She will be completing her PhD in 2023, at which point she will become a doctor of words. She is currently writer, mental health advocate and committee member at This is Me, Yorkshire Travel writer at House of Coco Magazine, lecturer and Module Leader at the University of Huddersfield, and Owner and freelance copywriter at Demi Aspey Writer. What you may not know about her is that she aspires to write scripts for TV. She produces dark, female driven drama scripts peppered with dry comedic wit and once tripped over Sir Patrick Stewart off of Star Trek.
