About the Creator

Jeffery Deaver is an international number-one bestselling author. His books are sold in 150 countries and have been translated into 25 languages. I love these books, as well as the TV series. I felt this story was a bit rushed and missed the depth of characters you get from the other books in the series.

The narrator was very good but the story felt compressed. The deductive reasoning seemed to be missing more than I am used to. I like to try and guess the perpetrators along with the main character and I was not even close nor the reasoning involved.

Two women have been kidnapped and a time limit is set on the reward or it's a nasty bye bye!
Interesting solution but, of course, Colter figures it out with time to spare!

This is the 3rd of the short stories that Jeffery Deaver has written within the Colter Shaw series - and it is the best. It is truly a great Colter Shaw story containing all the features that you would expect!! This one was the most in depth of the 3 short stories - and it left you hanging as usual!! Great everything!! Add it to your collection!!
