Gripping Fantasy with depth

The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. I am left wanting more. HJ Tolson does a wonderful job bringing this world to life and expanding our understanding as Candle learns more. The characters are interesting and unique with their own believable motivations. Thankfully the second book is already available. I also liked HJ Tolson's other series, Litches Get Stitches.

Dragon tales

I was surprised to like ths improbable tale but really it has a lot of things we all value. I got the first in the series gratis. The second is on me.

It is always such a joy to find a well written story that transports you into another realm! With its own unique lore, endearing characters and moments that continue to surprise, I couldn't wait to start the next audiobook in this series! Well done on the polished performance too! 👏

Wights and Demons and Dragons, oh my!

Beautiful, emotional story of family lost and family found, with multiple magic systems and thoughtful world building. I loved hearing Candle brought to life! Just wish Saskia would slow down and pause a beat between paragraphs. She lost some of the nuance and drama by reading too fast.
