Short but Steamy

I didn’t realize how short this book was until the end, but it was great. The narration was fantastic and I’m looking forward to the next book.

would've liked an epilogue regarding the future of Brenna & Jacob, and if they had any kids?

Yummy story

First time reading this author, and I am already downloading the next book in the series. I am looking forward to the next book that centers around the bodyguard in this story. The storyline is pretty good, It is a mafia romance, and the FMC does get slapped and punched a few times, but not by the MMC. He actually has no problem breaking bones to keep her from being hurt again. No cheating. He is very respectful, though he did not want the marriage to begin with. The only thing I can say I wish had happened is the narrators to have accents. The MMC is from Brooklyn, and the FMC is Irish. The narrators were pleasant to listen to, but the story would have been more enhanced if they could have used a Brooklyn and Irish accents. Still did not take away from the story to point I didn't want to finish it. I am onto the next story which was introduced at the end of this one story.

Captivating!

This is the first book in the Brooklyn Kings Series. Jacob and Brenna's story is well written, and captivating. Jacob, son of the head of the Italian syndicate, is enigmatic, ruthless, and protective. Brenna, granddaughter of the Irish mob’s leader, is beautiful, strong, smart, and brave. They are both interesting characters. The storyline is intricate, and enthralling. I liked the twists and turns in the story. This is an excellent Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance. I enjoyed it. Eva Caine and Walker Williams did an excellent job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to The Enemy in My Bed, the next book in the series. If you like Mafia Romance, this series is for you. #TheFlock
