Enjoyable Friends to Lovers Romance

Joe Arden is a longtime favorite narrator of mine. Melissa Moran is a new to me narrator, but I really enjoyed her performance in this story. I will definitely be listening to more of her.

I really enjoyed this friends to lovers romance. Elle was such a sweet and innocent young lady. Walker was quite a bit more experienced in life. This was definitely a slow building romance. It took a while for these two to finally look at each other in a different light and realize that they both wanted something more.

Walker had always viewed himself as less than. He didn't think he was good enough for Elle and so he didn't want to pursue anything with her. Elle didn't really think she was his type so she tried to keep her feelings to herself. Slowly but surely their feelings started to show and then all bets were off.

My only issue with the book was I thought it took way too long for them to finally start looking at each other differently and then even longer before they finally got together. I would have liked to see more of them as a couple, even if it was them hiding their relationship from her brother and the rest of the family.

Elle and Walker’s book was something special!

What was unique about this book is that they each had personal journey’s that advanced and unfolded for the better BECAUSE they had one another in the others corner. Almost like neither would have become the person they were intended to be had they not had each other. They found their place and healing as individuals by one another’s side and that makes for such a special love story.

Interesting story.

I loved Wicked Hearts but I would have loved it more if I read a little more about Elle and Walker’s love story. I thought the ending was a bit rushed. The story was beautiful, it was interesting, sweet and spicy. It was full of laughter and love. A very good series so far.

Bad boy. Good girl. Fabulous story.

Walker is a player. Elle is searching for her purpose. Her dream. They are opposite in every way but somehow perfect for each other.

I loved this brother’s little sister and his best friend getting together. Walker broke my heart more than once. He’s such a sweet soul struggling with his past demons . And he can’t stay away from Elle. She realizes he’s more than her brother’s best friend. He’s everything she wants. And he realizes he no longer wants any other woman but Elle.

This narration was emotional, fun, and heart melting. Absolutely perfection. I loved every word.
