Divided we fall….

Mathison and his Marines have been reunited, and they’ve found unlikely allies in their mission to save humanity, which is currently tearing itself apart. SOG systems are rebelling, the Republic wants to run away…and then there’s the whole invasion of the vanhat they have to contend with.

The Last Marines have a new weapon, but it’s Republic technology, and the Republic forces are going to take it with them when they flee. So even though the Republic has betrayed the Marines, they must find and warn the Republic fleet…and do whatever it takes to get their hands on the technology. The Marines have one chance to save the Republic, but time—and the rest of humanity—is against them.

Surrounded by people he doesn’t trust—including a SOG commissar and troops from the Republic—Mathison will have to forge them into a team and track down the Republic before they leave…or humanity is doomed.

Really enjoying this book series, I'm excited for the next one. Id rather the writer take their time and give us more good content rather than rush another one out that's shorter and is of less quality. Also the narrator is killing it.

Excited for next book

Ooh-Rah! Marine Raiders of the future brought to life. John Pirhalla is the best choice! William S Frisbee Jr, with his unique experience, has created a world you care for. “Our” Marines are in a fight for their lives. I could not stop listening. But now waiting for the next.

How can they survive?

Pirhalla does it again! Bringing my favorite characters to life, letting me get to know them even more as the adventure continues. The snark and hilarity hasn't wavered one bit! Love this story, and the very enjoyable eargasms!!
Ooh-Rah!

More Action and Lulz !!

First of all, the narration is just great. Top notch. He goes above and beyond and some of the voice effects (tweaking the recording so it sounds like a monotone radio communication for example) is just really cool.
The story itself is humming along and I’m along for the ride. I’m already bummed that there’s only 6 books. The 6th isn’t out on audio either or I’d have bought it already.
I will say the style can be a little off putting. There are times where I’ve thought “get on with it. Move along already!” To much suspense when the story should be moving along.
That all being said, the story is written and it’s not going to change. And it’s a dang fine story. Off to the next book.

A fun ride had by all!
