I haven’t felt so sucked into a book in a long time. Amazing performance and great story!

Best adult fantasy series ever!!

I can't say enough about this series, the characters, and relationships between them had me so invested! The plot was so detailed and easy to follow, with no holes! Olivia's writing is fantastic for adults- such and underrated series!!

decent series inconsistent performances

My main issue is just that the two actors haven't been instructed on how to pronounce names or the kind of accents characters have. They pronounce some names completely differently. And certain characters that were introduced with accents have no trace with the second actor. It's very distracting and just irksome.

And Now I’m Hooked

Look, I almost didn’t read this book because book 1 was so slow and Fallon is insufferable and irrational. Let’s be real, she’s unreasonable and stubborn for the first half of this book, but that is to be expected based on her upbringing. She’s also still naive and dense. At times, I wanted to shake her up but I love this world and story so much, I can get past Fallon. Or forgive her. I hope she grows in the next installment. I hope she becomes the woman worthy of being a crow. Olivia has not disappointed me yet, so there’s hope. Overall, book 2 was remarkable and I can’t wait to see how this story ends.
